Independence, Resilience & Friendships
The teenage years are an exciting time, but also bring some unique challenges for young people and their families.
It’s a time of significant growth and change, both physically and in what’s important to them – in particular building and maintaining friendships. Young adults are also seeking greater independence, and participation in new activities, work and study. We support those living with disability to engage fully in every area of life, helping them develop a personal toolkit of strategies and lots of resilience.
Our team of Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists is dedicated to supporting young people to embrace challenges, as well as explore and create new opportunities for participation in everything they want to experience. This includes through physical therapy, assisted technology, modified environments and development of new skills – all focused on attainment of their goals.
To underpin our individualised support and person-centred approach, we provide therapy in the setting/s that suit our clients best - at home, school, work, organised activities, or within the community. We’re also committed to providing access to all clients and their families, whether they live in urban, regional or rural Victoria. We’re growing and extending our coverage all the time, so get in touch to confirm the availability of our therapists at a location that works for you.
Our clients have diverse needs and goals and we work hard to deliver a flexible and personalised program to suit each one. If you would like to find out more about how we can support you and your family, please get in touch for a confidential conversation.
